Services
Livestock
Dr. Shanks can help keep your livestock healthy, no matter if they are production animals or pets. Services include preventative medicine visits (vaccinations, castrations, etc), pregnancy diagnosis, bull testing, obstetrics, treatment of sick animals, herd health consultations, and others. We have a mobile hydraulic chute available for cattle appointments.
Equine
Vaccinations, dental floats, lameness exams, and the treatment of sick and wounded horses are all services we offer to help keep your equine friends happy and healthy. We can also provide referrals for more specialized services to other veterinarians in the area when needed.
Small Animal
We offer in-home euthanasia services. When it is time to say goodbye to your pet Dr. Shanks can come to your home and allow you spend your final moments with them in a familiar and comfortable place. We also provide cremation services if desired.
Please note: At this time we do not offer any small services other than euthanasia and cremation.
After Hours
We provide after-hour services for large animal emergencies and small animal euthanasia. Any service being performed outside of normal business hours will incur an emergency fee; with prices increasing after 10pm.
All invoices, including those for emergency services, must be paid in full at the time of service, no exceptions.
